John Krigger

John began his energy career in the late 1970s with the Alternative Energy Research Organization (AERO) and the National Center for Appropriate Technology (NCAT). While working at NCAT, he learned the publishing business, writing, art direction, and project management. He founded a small energy service company in 1981 providing diverse energy-conservation services for residential and light commercial buildings.
From The Homeowner’s Handbook to Energy Efficiency: “The largest undertakings, such as replacing heating and cooling systems, will be worth every penny for homeowners who can afford the investment. The smaller projects, that include replacing light fixtures and insulating your ductwork, will provide immediate benefits if you don’t have much time or money.”
